Leica M9 and X1 leak out ahead of schedule

Wondering what Leica has up its sleeve for that destined -to-be- overshadowed event on the 9th ? Well, wonder no more: these pics of the long-rumored M9 and something called the X1 just leaked out, along with some specs. We’re told the M9 will sport a full-frame 18.2 megapixel sensor and improved low-light performance, but the real surprise is the X1, pictured above, which’ll supposedly have a 12 megapixel APS-C sensor, a fixed 24mm lens and that funky grip handle, by which we’re oddly fascinated. Samsung’s SGH-t349 now official, still bright green

Emerging from the rumor mill this morning in all of its limey goodness is the SGH-t349, Samsung’s 20-key partial QWERTY candybar phone for T-Mobile. This guy has by no means proven camera shy thus far, so it’s no real surprise - but hey, lets see you make a cell phone without anyone finding out about it. Coming in at a few bucks shy of the price of a good meal ($14.99 on a 2-year contract), it’s not exactly jam packed full of feature flavor - but it’ll get the job done. Asus Eee T91 Coming Out Within 30 Days

Asus has confirmed to ElectricPig that the Eee T91 would come out within one month, at least in the U.K. The real surprise is the price: at $675, it is pricey for the performance and comfort, but Asus seems to think that the tablet format justifies this premium. If the T91 comes with a GPS and a TV-Tuner as it was previously rumored, that might partly justify the higher price. The question is whether or not customers will bite and that’s hard to tell. Our guess is that without compelling software, there’s little incentive to get one for that price. What do you think?
