Flickr gets official iPhone app

This makes it official, folks. Flickr is now on Apple’s iPhone . The photo sharing application finally joins the thousands of media app on the wonder-phone, allowing users to access the user account features of the service. Search video and photo will be accessible, as well as sharing content via email and leaving comments. So from now on, when you shoot that picture or video, you can directly upload it to your Flickr account. Geo-tag feature for the photos are also available to mark your current location. The only catch: individual upload is the only way to go. Then again, if it’s just for random pics to be uploaded…

Leaked Images Of The Facebook Android App Surface

When Android made its handset debut on the T-Mobile G1 back in October of 2008, a nasty bout of drama between Facebook and Google kept the former from developing on the nascent platform. 9 months later, Facebook took a look at the ever growing number of Android handsets and decided to move past the politics. Pirate Bay fires its copyright-busting cannon at YouTube

Supposedly, the The Pirate Bay guys were found guilty in their recent trial in Sweden, and, supposedly, they got sentenced to a year in prison and had to pay $4.5 million in damages. But back in the parallel universe which happens to be the real world, they’ve appealed the verdict and could probably keep doing so for the next few years. So in the meantime they need to keep busy, and what better way to do this than start a new user driven video portal to take on YouTube, called, predictably, Video Bay , allowing users to post and share video clips without having to worry about copyright violations. Activision Will Release Guitar Hero 5 and Other Games

After weeks of anticipation, video-game publisher Activision confirmed Thursday it will release three new game titles this fall, including a new version of the popular Guitar Hero title. Santa Monica, Calif.-based Activision is releasing Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and DJ Hero sometime this fall.
